Many people want to go overseas this summer and United Airlines is meeting demand with more international options, increasing service by 25 percent. The airline will fly to more than 100 international destinations during this busy season.

Summer flights being offered include some of the most sought-after destinations, including Europe, where several cities top summer's hottest spots in 2023.

There's new service to Malaga, Dubai and Stockholm as well as more flights to Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Shannon, Edinburgh and Naples.

United has also increased flights to London-Heathrow, and the airline is flying to more off-the-beaten-path locales such as Amman, the Azores, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife.

United has expanded its service beyond Europe to Asia and Australia.

There are more flights to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The airline has added 10 daily transpacific flights to Tokyo-Haneda, Tokyo-Narita and Osaka as well as twice-daily service to flights to Seoul, South Korea from San Francisco.

"With unprecedented demand for travel overseas, we'll have more service to popular cities while also adding new and unique destinations for customers to explore,” Patrick Quayle, senior vice president of global network planning and alliances.

Bookings for the summer are already taking off with an increase of 15 percent over last year.
