A trio of
prestigious hotels have just been awarded the AAA Diamond Program’s highest
distinction of Five Diamonds, cementing their reputations as leading in luxury
hospitality. Namely, the Waldorf Astoria Chicago; The Setai, Miami Beach; and
Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco.
These properties provide
the highest levels of service, comfort and refinement, offering their guests
opulent surroundings and unmatched experiences. In addition to these standout
hotels, more than a dozen other properties have joined the ranks of AAA Four
Diamond establishments this month, a category that recognizes upscale amenities
and exceptional fine dining.
AAA’s Diamond
Program Inspectors conduct thorough surprise assessments of hotels and restaurants
throughout North America, the Caribbean
and Costa
Rica. These properties are evaluated based on the “4 Cs” of Cleanliness,
Comfort, Cuisine and Consistency. Earning a Five Diamond rating is a testament
to a property’s commitment to maintaining the very highest standards of luxury
and hospitality.
Some restaurants
also received fresh recognition this month, with establishments like Bistro
Napa in Reno, Nevada; The Bazaar by José Andrés in Washington, D.C.; Manzanita in
Truckee, California; and Essence Restaurant + Bar in Elkhart, Indiana earning
AAA Four Diamond distinctions.

Diamond lists are
updated on a monthly basis, since AAA Inspectors visit various establishments
throughout the year. With these new additions, there are now approximately 140
Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants, along with 1,750 Four
Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants in the AAA program.
