Top Travel Advisor Appreciation Month Deals Available This May

May is Travel Advisor Appreciation Month and suppliers are celebrating all month long with special offers, including free trips and limited-time bonus commission on select bookings.

Here are some of the top deals that advisors can take advantage of this spring.

Rental Escapes

Rental Escapes is marking Travel Advisor Appreciation Month with a bonus commission of up to $5,000 for the entire month of May. The offer applies to bookings made from May 1-31, 2024, for stays between May 8, 2024, and December 31, 2025.

"As a former travel advisor myself, I personally understand the sacrifice and dedication travel advisors make to ensure their clients have an exceptional villa vacation. Advisors are crucial to our industry and we want to ensure that they feel recognized and supported when working with Rental Escapes," Willie Fernandez, chief marketing officer of Rental Escapes, said in a statement.

"We’re thrilled to launch this offer to thank our travel advisors for their support of Rental Escapes and the immense value they bring to the travel and hospitality industry."

Windstar Cruises

Windstar Cruises is celebrating advisors with four free cruise giveaways and bonus commission this spring.

During the month of May, travel advisors who make a new booking or complete Windstar's online training program will be entered for a chance to win one of four free cruises for themselves and a guest.

Advisors can increase their odds with each booking. 2024 new bookings made during the month of May are worth five entries while each new booking for 2025 and beyond counts for two entries. Advisors who complete Windstar’s Star Specialist Online Learning Program by the end of the month also earn five entries.

Additionally, advisors can earn a $100 commission bonus for each cabin booked for a new-to-Windstar guest during the month of May.

Finally, beginning in June 2024, all booking commissions will be paid 29 days prior to the cruise departure rather than after departure.

"Advisors are very successful in bringing new-to-cruise guests to the brand, which is something we’ve been seeing in large numbers since the cruise industry opened back up in 2021. Their expertise enriches the experiences of travelers and helps ensure happy guests sailing on our ships."

ALG Vacations

Travel advisors who are ALGVPro-certified and book an ALGV brand by May 31, 2024, can receive up to three entries per reservation for a chance to win one of 10 free getaways, essential travel kits, professional and personal well-being mystery bundles and other prizes.

Eligible advisors will receive a base entry with any booking and get a bonus entry when including Travel Protection Plus. Bookings with an Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight (ENVF) will receive a third entry.

Plus, advisors can book from now through May 30, 2024, for travel through April 30, 2025, and offer up to $200 off ENVFs, hotel discounts over 75 percent, Alamo car rental savings, ALGV’s Exclusive Perks and more to grow their sales and boost their business.

Delta Vacations

The top Delta Vacations booker each day during the month of May will win a spot on a Delta Vacations trip to Hawaii including round-trip airfare. Meanwhile, the four top travel advisor bookers throughout the month will receive a $500 Delta Air Lines flight voucher.

Travel Advisors can also save up to $300 per booking to select destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central and South America.

Air Canada

This May, Canadians can nominate the most deserving travel advisors for a chance to win 100,000 Aeroplan points.

Meanwhile, the winning nominator will receive a grand prize package to their dream destination that includes a pair of roundtrip tickets for them and a companion to anywhere Air Canada flies; an Air Canada Vacations future travel voucher worth $2,500 and a pair of Maple Leaf Lounge one-time passes.

AmaWaterways

All travel advisors attending AmaWaterways' "Webinar Wednesdays" during the month of May will be entered into a weekly draw to win a complimentary European river cruise for two. On June 4, travel advisors who attend all five Webinar Wednesday sessions and create a co-branded website with AmaWaterways will be placed in the draw to win a complimentary cruise for two on board AmaWaterways’ flagship, AmaMagna.

Advisors will also earn a $25 gift card for each new reservation made in May for travel in 2024 or a $50 gift card for new bookings departing in July, August or November 2024.

On top of prizes and incentives, AmaWaterways is offering special FAM rates to experience its Secrets of Egypt & The Nile itinerary with a selection of departure dates offered between May 3 and June 21, 2024.

Sandals and Beaches Resorts

Bookings of six nights or more made during the month of May for travel to any qualifying Sandals or Beaches resort property through December 26, 2024, will receive an extra booking incentive for the following categories:

$200 Booking Bonus on Butler Suites
$150 Booking Bonus on Club/Concierge Level Rooms
$75 Booking Bonus on Luxury/Deluxe Rooms

Riviera River Cruises

Riviera River Cruises is rewarding advisors this May with a complimentary cabin on a 2024 European river cruise as well as a 5 percent bonus commission for every cabin booked on 2024 departures.

Advisors who book any three cabins aboard departures of eight days or more in 2024 at retail during the month of May will receive a complimentary cabin of their own.

What's more, Riviera will hold two webinars in May and advisors who attend will be entered into drawings for a $500 gift card.

Classic Vacations

Classic Vacations will be hosting giveaways via social media and email newsletters throughout the week.

Advisors will have the chance to win a three-night stay at Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii by posting a picture to social media showing how they spend their Royalty Rewards. They must also tag Classic Vacations and use hashtag #CVAdvisorWeek by Thursday, May 2.

Advisors can also win a free bottle of champagne (three winners will be announced) by completing the scavenger hunt in Classic Vacations' email sent on Monday, April 29 by Thursday, May 2.

Avanti Destinations

Avanti Destinations is celebrating advisors by offering a $25 gift card for each land booking of $5,000 or more made during the month of May for travel any time before December 31, 2024, and paid with at least a deposit on land arrangements by the end of the May.

Meanwhile, Avanti is awarding a $50 gift card for bookings outside of Europe, including the South Pacific, Asia, Central and South America, North Africa and the Middle East.

"Our travel advisor partners are the cornerstone of Avanti’s success,” said Gina Bang, Avanti’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. "We want them to know how much we appreciate their hard work, and we are also trying to encourage advisors to recommend destinations outside of Europe, which is always the most popular region."

African Travel, Inc.

Luxury safari outfitter African Travel, Inc. has announced special incentives and offers to celebrate Global Travel Advisor Day. As part of the celebration, advisors will receive a $50 e-gift card for every new custom safari booking made and deposited between May 1-31, 2024.

HX

Formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions, HX is rolling out the incentives this spring, including increasing commissions to 25 percent on all Antarctica bookings now through August 2024. To qualify, the sailings must be scheduled between October 2024 and December 2025.

This May, advisors can also enter to win a trip to Antarctica by joining the new HX Travel Partners, Americas Facebook page and registering with HX's agent portal. For every Antarctica cabin booked in May, advisors will receive an additional three entries.

Plus, advisors booking from now through December 31, 2024, for trips in 2024 and 2025, can earn a free voyage of up to 14 days long (does not include Machu Picchu itineraries) for themselves by selling five HX cruises.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises is giving thanks to travel advisors with over $45,000 worth of prizes this May in the form of free cruises, gifts and double Celebrity Rewards. The special incentives and promotions include the following:

Social Giveaways: Between May 1-10, daily videos from Celebrity Cruises’ employees will reward over 100 travel advisors with gifts totaling over $15,000 in value. Travel advisors can join the Facebook private group - The Celebrity Commitment to Our Travel Partners - to be in the running. 
Free Celebrity Cruise: Travel advisors who engage in various activities throughout Travel Agent Appreciation Month, and complete this survey, will be in the running to win a Celebrity cruise for two people. 
Free Galapagos Sailing: Book three staterooms, with at least one being a Galapagos sailing, throughout the month of May and be in the running to experience the Galapagos first-hand, valued at $20,000.
Double Rewards: Travel advisors can earn more with double Celebrity Rewards points on offer for every booking made between May 1-10.

Cunard

Cunard is offering up to $50 in bonus commission per booking on top of up to $600 in onboard credit for clients.

Available on select 2024 and 2025 voyages now through May 14, 2024, new bookings can receive the bonus commission, onboard credit and a 50 percent reduced deposit.

Disney

Although not technically a deal, Disney is hosting a special Travel Advisor Appreciation Station located at Upcountry Landing near the "Feathered Friends in Flight!" show at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park during the month of May.

Visitors can grab a refreshment and strategize with Disney's Travel Agency Sales team to make some memories and gain key insights to boost their sales at the same time.
