Photo Tour Highlights of Cayo Levantado: A Luxury Resort in the Dominican Republic

Cayo Levantado Resort

1/10
Cayo Levantado Resort offers an unforgettable experience for travelers seeking luxury, relaxation and natural beauty. This all-inclusive resort sits on its own island off the coast of Semana, Dominican Republic and offer world-class amenities and exceptional service, designed to immerse guests in a unique vacation experience.

“Cayo Levantado specializes in wellness,” Dilcia Uceta, Sales Director for Cayo Levantado said. “We offer four paths in our wellness program: renew, relax, refresh, and restore. Each client can elect and choose their path before arriving at the hotel, and our ambassadors and hotel staff will make their stay according to their path.”

The path chosen will allow the hotel to tailor the guest’s stay in a special way, from the accommodations to the restaurants to the experiences offered during the stay.

Family Junior Suite

2/10
There are 218 total rooms at Cayo Levantado. Every room comes with an ambassador who can help assist with the various needs that may come up during one’s stay. Need a golf cart ride across the island? Need to set up room service, book a spa service, or schedule a wellness activity? The personal ambassadors bring a high level of service to the overall vacation experience at Cayo Levantado.

Villa Room Views

3/10
Bedroom villas with a plunge pool and a breathtaking view – what more could one need? Cayo Levantado features one-bedroom villas, two bedroom villas, beachfront villas for adults only, and signature villas that can sleep up to six adults and two children.

Private Beach

4/10
Cayo Levantado has a private beach area at the Beach Club Olah. There’s a beach bar and a pool and the restaurant Carey all right behind it, so it’s easy to spend the entire day in this area of the resort. Plus, our breathwork class as part of the wellness experience took place on this beach one morning, which made for a beautiful setting.

There is a public beach area on the opposite side of the resort that is much larger. For those interested in a different beach setting, it gets less crowded at the public beach after 5 p.m.

Beach Club Olah Pool

5/10
This massive pool is quite picturesque. It sits between the private beach and the restaurant Carey, which features a Japanese-Peruvian inspired menu for dinner that is sure to rock the taste buds. This is the most popular pool given its location next to the beach and the restaurant, but at no time did it feel overly crowded. That’s the beauty of staying at such a secluded resort.

Yubarta Wellness Center

6/10
A haven for all things wellness, the Yubarta center was a place I found myself continuously returning to during my stay at Cayo Levantado. This is the area that will help guests fully immerse into the wellness path they selected for their stay. From yoga to sound healing to chakra meditation and other holistic therapies, this wellness zone features 8 Taíno inspired locations to offer guests a plethora of opportunities to engage in wellness experiences.

Spa

7/10
Guests can book their spa appointments so that it aligns with whichever path they’ve chosen for their stay. Of course, guests can experience things from each of the paths during their stay. At the spa, they offer a variety of massages, facials, hydrotherapy circuits, and also hot stone therapy.

Pool and Wellness Zone

8/10
The other pool on property is located in between Yubarta wellness center and the fitness gym. It’s here where you will also find the Santa Yuca restaurant, which is the more health and wellness focused restaurant centered around meals that amplify whatever path the guest has chosen. With the fresh fruits and diverse menu, we loved this spot for breakfast. Additionally, there’s a bar in the center here which made for a lovely wine tasting location one evening.

Restaurant Palma Real

9/10
Restaurant Palma Real is Cayo Levantado’s take on the buffet-style dining experience. However, they have elevated the buffet dining to another level here, offering meats to be grilled right in front of you, sushi prepared in front of you, local Dominican Republic dishes, a pizza and chicken nugget spot for the kids, a decadent dessert layout and more.

All Inclusive Luxury

10/10
Cayo Levantado is "redefining the all-inclusive experience," Uceta said.

The resort's dedication to preserving the local culture, its sustainability efforts, and its wellness offerings all help to separate it from other resorts in the Caribbean. With the various amenities, elevated dining options, multiple wellness offerings, and a personal ambassador to help you at a moment's notice, Cayo Levantado's 24-hour all-inclusive service delivers on the high-quality luxury experience.
