Crews continue to make progress on MSC World America, the newest ship slated to join MSC Cruises’ fleet in the spring.
The ship is now five months away from its first sailing, scheduled to depart from Miami on April 12, 2025. Crews working at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, are hard at work installing all of the vessel’s interiors, public spaces and facilities.
MSC World America will feature several reimagined venues and concepts, as well as an updated version of the line’s signature blend of European style and American comfort.
The vessel will have seven distinct districts, each with its own personality and flair. Guests can look forward to the Family Aventura district, for instance, a new outdoor venue designed for kids and families that’s home to The Harbour and the Cliffhanger swing attraction.
“We’ve invested a lot into tailoring MSC World America to deliver a truly memorable cruise experience, with new restaurants, bars, experiences and spaces,” says Bernhard Stacher, senior vice president of shipboard hospitality operations for MSC Cruises. “With the only Eataly restaurant at sea, a brand-new Greek restaurant Paxos and MSC Cruises’ first comedy club The Loft, there’s really a space and experience for every guest.”
