Delta Air Lines
will re-debut a new class of seating. Delta
Premium Select will debut on flights between New York-JFK and Los Angeles this
fall.
Delta will offer Delta Premium Select on select JFK-LAX flights beginning in September. By the end of September, free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile will be available on all flights between JFK and LAX. The new seating class will also offer a greater dining experience and more legroom.
The
first flight between the two major cities will debut on September 10.
“Delta
Premium Select will bring a new level of comfort, luxury and practicality to
one of Delta's most important routes in the domestic U.S. as we continue to
work to deliver more premium experiences to our customers,” said Mauricio
Parise, Vice President – Brand Experience Design.
“This product has been a
success internationally, especially following the recent investments we’ve made
onboard, and we know that customers flying between New York and Los Angeles
will enjoy the opportunity to treat themselves to a more spacious seat and
premium experience," Parise continued.
Delta Premium Select debuted in 2017 and now operates on most of Delta’s trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic flights and on select routes to Latin America. The product was recently refreshed to feature more locally inspired dining, premium hand-crafted amenities, more dedicated service, and the option to pre-select onboard meals.
