Travel
advisor consortium Ensemble is partnering with the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) to
launch a Specialist Certification program focused on the island’s top luxury
resorts.
The
program is designed to provide Ensemble member agencies with access to luxury
amenities, facilities and services including “high-end destination management companies”
and concierge services for “clients looking for bespoke vacations,” according
to Ensemble and JTB officials.
Five
luxury properties—Round Hill Hotel and Villas, the Half Moon resort, the Jamaica
Inn resort, The Tryall Club, and the Trident Hotel—will form the focus of the
program, said officials.
Jamaican tour companies Chukka Adventures and Island Routes are
also part of the specialist program. Island Routes has introduced exclusive bespoke
Private Collection experiences, while Chukka Adventures “caters to clients
interested in more active pursuits,” officials said.
Additionally,
Club Mobay staff at Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport will meet Ensemble clients at
their aircraft, assist the travelers through the airport and escort them to a
private lounge.
Participating
advisors can be featured on the Ensemble’s Come Back to Luxurious site and have
access to exclusive offers from participating hotels and tour companies.
The
advisor with the highest bookings each month will receive a cash incentive. Finally,
the program will offer advisors exclusive luxury FAM trips.
“We are excited to take this
exclusive partnership to the next level with the launch of the certification
program,” said Jenn Kotacka, Ensemble’s senior director, training and development.
The certification program “will
expedite the training of our advisors and lead to increased bookings,” Kotacka said.
“This
exclusive new program will allow travel advisors to access immersive training
sessions developed by Jamaica’s premiere luxury suppliers and VIP services,”
said Angella Bennett, JTB’s regional director of Canada.
“The
certification program will provide agents with the insider knowledge and tools
they need to increase their luxury business in 2024,” Bennett said.
