Frontier Airlines will upgrade its loyalty program in time
for next year.
Using the tagline “Get It All For Less,” Frontier is
boasting a bigger return for frequent flyer points and a quicker route to free
flights, free bags and more amenities.
“We are thrilled to announce some exciting new ways for our
customers to ‘Get it All for Less’ when they fly with us,” Frontier Airlines
CEO Barry Biffle said. “We are making the new FRONTIER Miles program like no
other loyalty program in the airline industry when it comes to earning free
flights and getting valuable status quickly and for less.”
“If you are someone who travels three or four times a year,
you can easily earn a free flight and status with great new benefits in no time,”
Biffle continued.
The new program will debut next year.
Frontier Airlines officials say the new upgraded program
will have the highest earn-rate in the industry. The enhanced program will
include:
- Miles will now accrue based on dollars spent on Frontier
products -- including flights, bags, seat assignments, and bundles -- with a
standard 10X multiplier: $1=10 miles. Mileage multipliers increase at every
status level up to 20X. All of these miles qualify toward status.
- In 2024, there will be four status levels – Silver (new at
10K), Gold (20K), Platinum (50K) and Diamond (100K). All status levels will
include a free, advanced seating assignment. There will also be no change or
cancelation fees if changes are made within seven days of flight, among other
perks.
- At gold level and above, there will be free upgrades,
subject to availability, and free carry-on bags.
- The mileage multiplier increases at every level up to 20X.

“Our enhanced program enables you to get free bags, seat
assignments, and priority benefits rapidly,” Biffle continued. “Plus, we are
now rewarding customers for their add-on purchases, including bags, seats and
other extras.
“We are so excited about these upcoming enhancements, we are
offering the ability to earn for next year now with an additional 10 miles for
every dollar spent on Frontier,” Biffle said.
