The Globus family of brands, which consists of Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways, has launched a new FAM trip program for travel advisors called “FOR U, BY US,” which includes pre- and post-trip training, business plans, meetings and more to further support advisors.
The new program will take a sales-focused approach and will be administered by business development managers working directly with advisors. More information is available on Globus’s travel advisor portal, which launched in May.
Advisors who take a FAM trip with Globus will enjoy detailed itineraries, training materials and booking-focused goals ahead of their FAM trips, participate in training and social media content creation during their trip and put their expertise to work through social media and bookings post-trip.
Globus plans to send over 650 travel advisors on FAM trips next year, with another 750 participating in on-trip and event-specific initiatives to strengthen advisor engagement.
“On our FAM trips, we aren’t just inviting travel advisors into the world on Globus tours and Avalon river cruises,” said Camile Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands.
