InteleTravel, the global
travel distribution group and longtime host travel agency recently launched
Inteleperks, a newly created reward program for travel advisors.
Beyond market-leading commissions through InteleTravel’s
host agency platform, the new tech-enabled program further rewards advisors for
efforts the company determined will lead to advisor profitability for its
network of over 100,000 travel advisors worldwide.
These include attending company and industry training
events, selling InteleTravel preferred suppliers, joining ASTA and CLIA,
adhering to operating and compliance regulations and more. Advisors earn points
that can be redeemed for travel opportunities and consumer goods from an
extensive catalog of high-end brands.
“We’ve taken the loyalty and incentive idea from airlines,
hotels and other suppliers and used it for the first time within a host agency
operation. IntelePerks is certainly a new way to reward our travel advisors for
their impressive work,” said James Ferrara, co-founder and president of
InteleTravel.
Ferrera added, “More than that, we’ve built a complex,
integrated platform that offers a series of signposts to increase advisor
success. The system stimulates and actuates behaviors that our data proves to
result in higher
sales and profits, more efficient booking and reporting processes, and more
focus on preferred supplier partnerships. Commissions come first, then jewelry,
electronics, fashion, cruises, hotel stays and similar redemption
opportunities.”
The IntelePerks program has been in the works for several
years, with technology development starting in the fall of 2023. It is open to
all InteleTravel advisors at no cost and operates across all of InteleTravel’s
international markets, which means it calculates in all currencies and ends in
reward redemption and shipping by local fulfillment contractors.
“We have some of the top-performing advisors in the industry
on our team and are constantly developing more ways to reward them for their
hard work and loyalty to the brand,” said Tara Minson, executive vice president
and CMO of InteleTravel. “We’ve been working on IntelePerks for years, and the
response has been overwhelming. Over 17,500 advisors have registered in just
two weeks and over 35 million points have already been awarded.”
Rewards include over 1,000 tangible goods such as jewelry,
suitcases, sports equipment, home decor, kitchenware, sound systems and
televisions from brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Sony. In addition, rewards
also include travel options like stays at all-inclusive resorts, hotel nights,
ocean and river cruises, wine and culinary tours, spa retreats and more.
