Hotel giant Marriott International, Inc. has acquired the Postcard Cabins brand, a nature-based lodging company offering over 1,200 cabins across 29 different destinations across the nation.
Formerly known as Getaway, Postcard Cabins offers accommodations just two hours away from major cities in the United States and provides travelers with ways to disconnect from daily life and reconnect with nature within Postcard Cabins Outposts.
Accommodations are cozy and elevated, so travelers who aren't avid campers won't need to worry about pitching a tent at a campsite, but can instead enjoy modern conveniences and forest views in their own small cabins.
The Postcard Cabins portfolio will be part of a growing outdoor and nature-based portfolio for Marriott. Postcard Cabins’ accommodations will be added to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio in 2025.
“In joining Marriott, we’re excited to bring the Postcard Cabins experience to a global audience seeking exactly what we offer—a place to slow down, disconnect from the everyday and invest in the relationships that matter most,” said Jon Staff, Founder and CEO of Postcard Cabins.
“What started a decade ago with a small group of believers in the power of spending free time in nature, has grown into a national movement, which we expect will only gather steam with Marriott’s expansive reach," Staff continued.
