Grupo Vidanta and VidantaWorld announced a new $1.3 billion VidantaWorld's
BON Luxury Theme Park project, scheduled to open in 2026.
Located on more than 150 acres at VidantaWorld Nuevo
Vallarta, the Mexican theme park will offer 23 attractions, 25 restaurants and
lounges, 16 retail shops and kiosks, and luxury resort hotels, including the
recently opened VidantaWorld's BON Park Hotel.
“VidantaWorld's BON Luxury Theme Park is a monumental leap
forward in the world of entertainment, redefining what a theme park can be as
the world's first all-generations luxury destination,” Grupo Vidanta Executive
Vice President Iván Chávez said.
To make VidantaWorld's BON Luxury Theme Park possible, Grupo
Vidanta is teaming up with entertainment giant Cirque du Soleil and
cutting-edge ride manufacturers Vekoma, Mack Rides, and Intamin, among others.
Some of the rides include the record-breaking Tecuani Beast—Latin
America's only double launch coaster—Beat It, Ashara: Goddess of Fire, SOL:
Speed of Light, Izari's Flight, Delia's Adventure, Floresta Drop, and the Vista
Wheel.
“With its seamless blend of cutting-edge innovation,
abundant natural beauty, and unparalleled luxury, VidantaWorld's BON sets a new
global standard for experiential entertainment,” Chávez continued.
In addition, the theme park will boast LUDO, a water-themed
dinner show by Cirque du Soleil, which will redefine live entertainment through
a fusion of art, technology, and storytelling, all scheduled to open in
November 2025.
“Our collaboration with the industry's leading visionaries
ensures VidantaWorld's BON will not only captivate guests of all ages but also
establish itself as one of the most iconic and transformative destinations in
the world,” Chávez concluded.
