Norwegian Cruise Line announced a second round of cruise cancellations on December 10, this time impacting winter 2025-26 sailings onboard the Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore ships, citing “fleet redeployments.”
Itineraries sailing from November 2025 through January 2026 on these three ships have been impacted by the redeployment.
Instead of the originally planned voyages, the Norwegian Breakaway will offer sailings to the Southern Caribbean and Bahamas from New York City, the Norwegian Bliss will offer sailings from Los Angeles to the Mexican Caribbean and the Norwegian Encore will offer an extended winter sailing season from Miami, offering trips to the Western Caribbean.
“Affected guests will automatically receive a full monetary refund of the fare paid, and as a genuine acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused, we have extended a 10% discount in the form of a Future Cruise Credit to be used towards any of our published sailings through Dec. 31, 2026,” said NCL in an official statement.
This is the second fleet redeployment announced for next winter.
Earlier this November, NCL cancelled cruises from November 2025 through April 2026 onboard three other ships, the Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Jewel, citing the same issue.
