Outside Agents has officially launched its new luxury brand, Opulence, gathering with travel advisors and suppliers in a two-day celebration spanning across Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Florida.
“Our goal for this brand is to meet the requests for the client, the supplier and the advisor," said Andrea Wright, Vice President, Luxury Sales at Outside Agents. “The client has spoken and they want unique experiences and hyper personalization. They aren't waiting to retire to take those bucket list trips, they are doing it now and they want an advisor that has been there, knows how to create these memorable events and will offer that high level service to even the most discerning clients. The advisors are looking for a platform to educate them, offer the trainings that allow them to focus on those luxury requests, and to help facilitate those relationships with the suppliers. And the supplier is looking to be in front of the advisors that have the luxury clients and are going to generate revenue for them. It's the perfect platform to help everyone succeed, a win-win for all.”
The creation of a new division for Outside Agents has advisors are already rejoicing.
“It’s a fantastic addition,” said Shauna Brown of Top Tier Travel Group with Outside Agents. “I think it's going to allow a very large agency to kind of have a segment to where you don't get lost. I think with Andrea and Opulence we're going to be able to see some addition of value coming into booking luxury travel, whereas sometimes whenever you've got thousands of agents, some of these smaller boutique properties they don't know where to direct their energy and so this is really going to allow them to know which agents are focused on the luxury sector. Being able to work with some luxury vendors who are much more accustomed to luxury clientele, I'm super excited about that possibility.”
Day one of celebrations began with a select group of travel advisors joining Outside Agents executives onboard a luxury yacht from Regal Wings.
It was all about showcasing advisors the types of experiences Opulence will be able to help provide. The group took the yacht around Biscayne Bay, into the Miami River for a unique view of Downtown Miami, and to see the lavish homes around Star Island.
“It's been a wonderful experience,” Brown said. “It's a great way to launch a luxury brand.”
Day two of celebrations concluded with a partner’s event at YOLO, a premier restaurant lounge in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Over 50 partners from brands like Crystal Cruises, AmaWaterways, Hyatt, ALG Vacations, Exotica, Windstar Cruises, Villas of Distinction, and more were on hand to celebrate the launch.
“Outside Agents has over 9000 agents, so when you are partnering with us, you have 9,000 agents looking at you,” Wright said. “If I'm a supplier, I'm doing the math and I'm thinking about where I'm spending my bonus. For our advisors, we are going to offer very unique trainings that they can't get elsewhere, curated luxury fams that will be personalized based on what they are selling, and an incredible support system to help them achieve their goals. Another big differentiator is that most luxury hosts have a minimum requirement to even allow you to join, but at Outside Agents, we have created a ‘Pathway to Opulence’ which will allow agents that want to sell luxury a way to get there. Our goal is to help them succeed.”
The global luxury travel market is currently worth over one trillion dollars. The sector is not slowing down anytime soon either, with expectations of reaching 3.3 trillion by 2032 according to Acumen Research and Consulting.
