Hoping to capitalize on demand from U.S. travelers, Princess Cruises is expanding its offerings in Japan for the 2025-26 season.
The 2,670-guest Diamond Princess will host an extended 2025-26 season in Japan and Southeast Asia. Princess will also offer 11 new voyages during the fall of 2025, visiting 25 destinations in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Cruises range from nine to 22 days long.
Travelers can choose from a variety of sailings, including a 16-day Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam departure that also includes a stop at Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Other itineraries include a 13-day fall foliage trip, a nine-day voyage through the Southern Islands and a 10-day Kyushu & Korea cruise, for example.
"For our fall 2025 through winter 2026 season, we're thrilled to expand our Japan cruises from Tokyo (Yokohama) during the beautiful fall foliage season and continue to Singapore to highlight the best of Southeast Asia,” says Terry Thornton, chief commercial officer for Princess Cruises. “Plus, our guests only need to unpack once to experience these storied countries while enjoying vibrant shore excursions and our regional culinary and entertainment offerings onboard."
