Princess Cruises reported record-breaking sales during the four-day commercial holiday period beginning with Black Friday through Cyber Monday, with a 32 percent increase in bookings from last year.
The cruise line saw travelers booking during Cyber Monday, in particular, with bookings 136 percent higher than that day last year. Bookings were strong for 2025 and 2026, though more travelers booked for two years in advance than they did last year, with an increase of 66 percent.
Princess Cruises is looking forward to plenty of exciting new ships and itineraries in the next two years, from the new Star Princess, debuting in fall of 2025, to the 2026 Japan sailing season offering 50 voyages around the island nation and the special itinerary celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States in 2026.
"The overwhelming response from our guests and worldwide strength of our brand reflects the growing enthusiasm for cruise travel and the unparalleled experience Princess Cruises delivers," said Gus Antorcha, president of Princess Cruises.
"With the strong demand in this period for both 2025 and 2026 voyages, it's clear our guests are planning further ahead than ever before to secure their dream vacations at sea," Antorcha continued. "Plus, with our Better than Best Price Guarantee, our guests are recognizing the value of booking early in complete confidence."
