Royal Caribbean announced several new details about its new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island experience, expected to open in December 2025 as the first in the cruise line’s new Royal Beach Club Collection.
The new beach club will offer an all-inclusive beach experience with 17 acres of beaches, three swim-up bars—including the world’s largest—seven beach bars, several pools and over 40 cabanas spaced across three distinct zones.
The beach club, which broke ground in April, will require the purchase of an all-inclusive day pass from Royal Caribbean, which includes roundtrip transportation, beach and pool access, food and drinks and more.
Families can enjoy a relaxing beachside day at the Family Beach, which includes a zero-entry pool for younger children, beach games for all ages and the new Ultimate Family Canaba with two stories of amenities.
Those wanting to relax and catch some rays will enjoy the Chill Beach, which offers a relaxing beach, local artisan huts for shopping, food stands and another pool.
For the party lovers, the fun doesn’t stop once you get off the ship: it gets even better. Party Cove is where guests can enjoy sitting at the world’s largest swim-up bar, The Floating Flamingo, dance to DJ-led music and enjoy personal poolside service at the Party Cove VIP space.
Travelers wanting to visit the new destination will be able to set sail for the beach club with a selection of three night to 7-night itineraries from Port Canaveral, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Cape Liberty, Galveston and Baltimore.
The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, which broke ground in April, is developed and operated in a partnership between Royal Caribbean and the Bahamian government. It is not affiliated with Atlantis Paradise Island.
An announcement in August provided information on the beach club’s environmental plans, including replacing nonnative invasive plant life with native plants, utilizing renewable energy and a goal of being zero waste-to-landfill.
“The Royal Beach Club Collection is designed for every type of family and vacationer to get everything they want out of their ideal beach day – no matter the vibe they’re looking for,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “With the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, we continue to super-serve our guests with a tailored experience at one of our most highly visited destinations, building on nearly five decades of collaboration with the community and government of The Bahamas.”
Royal Beach Club Cozumel will open as the second member of the Royal Beach Club Collection in 2026. Separate from the Perfect Day destinations, the Royal Beach Club Collection will focus on providing a choose-your-own beach day experience ranging from family days at the beach to lively pool parties.
