Princess Hotels & Resorts in the Dominican Republic and Mexico offers 11 all-inclusive properties in the popular vacation destinations of Punta Cana/Bávaro Beach and Riviera Maya.“We offer world-class accommodations in the three most important destinations in the Caribbean, with 11 hotels to choose from,” said Manuel Serrano, Caribbean commercial director. “Our properties offer great value for money, service consistency and authentic local experiences.”

Princess Property Highlights

Here are some of the highlights of Princess Hotels & Resorts in the Dominican Republic and Mexican Riviera.

Grand Bávaro Princess in Punta Cana has been completely renovated. The property is designed for families with children, couples and friends looking to enjoy a holiday in the Caribbean with a spa, sports and event and wedding space, and 10 themed restaurants including Italian, Japanese-Peruvian fusion, Indian and Mexican.

Part of Grand Bávaro is the Princess Family Club Bávaro, which includes a waterpark with slides, a playground, a mini club (ages 4-12) and family swimming pools.

Grand Riviera Princess, located on the beach just 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen, offers eight themed restaurants, swimming pools for adults and children, Kids Club both day and night, spa, tropical gardens and access to Grand Sunset Princess. This property also offers the upscale Platinum level for exclusive amenities.

Riviera Maya Offerings

In Mexico’s Rivera Maya, the company operates Grand Sunset Princess, Grand Riviera Princess, Platinum at Grand Riviera and Sunset Princess, and Princess Family Club Riviera.

Dominican Republic Resorts

In the Dominican Republic, resorts include the recently renovated Grand Bávaro Princess, the new Platinum at Grand Bávaro Princess, the also-new Princess Family Club Bávaro, the refreshed Caribe Deluxe Princess, the adults-only Punta Cana Princess and the renovated Tropical Deluxe Princess.

In Punta Cana, for example, Platinum at Grand Bávaro Princess and Princess Family Club Bávaro are located on the same property as Grand Bávaro Princess.

“They are in different areas with different concepts,” said Nicole Perez, director of sales for North America. “Grand Bávaro Princess is geared to guests that want to enjoy a tropical paradise in luxurious accommodations, and the Princess Family Club Bávaro is tailored more towards families with children that want to have a vacation where everyone is entertained.”

Catering to Families

Princess Family Club has guestrooms that accommodate up to five guests, “which is great for those large families, and some have direct access to the pool,” Perez said. “Also, families staying at the Princess Family Club Bávaro have exchange privileges with the Grand Bávaro Princess. This is a great option for multigenerational families and groups that want to vacation together, but not necessarily all stay at the Family Club.”

Princess Family Club also includes pools with water games and slides, as well as a kids club. “It also has an exclusive buffet restaurant especially set up for families,” Perez said, “and all the amenities a family needs while traveling – cribs, bunk beds, microwaves, toys to keep the kids happy, stroller service, and a children’s bathroom kit with mini bathrobes and slippers, etc.”

Exclusive Platinum Concept

An even higher level of all-inclusive offering is the Platinum at Grand Bávaro Princess.

“Platinum is an exclusive concept at our Grand Bávaro Princess for guests that book the Platinum Suites,” Serrano said. “Extra amenities include an exclusive Platinum lounge, beach club, premium drinks and three exclusive restaurants. Also, these guests have access to the Princess Family Club Bávaro.”

Princess Hotels & Resorts-Dominican Republic and Mexico has been enjoying a surge in business in 2023 and 2024, and executives believe it will continue into 2025.

“The last two years have been record-breaking for us,” Serrano said. “Following the pandemic, we continue to see yearly increases and, at this point in time, we do not see any indicators that show us that 2025 will be the exception.”

Engaging With Advisors

Princess Hotels & Resorts-Dominican Republic and Mexico is always working to strengthen its relationship with travel advisors.

“We are continuously expanding our engagement with travel agents, nurturing specialists in our products through our Travel Agent Academy course and organizing training sessions and familiarization trips to demonstrate the quality of our offerings,” said Nicole Perez, director of sales for North America. “This effort aims to reinforce the trust of travel advisors in Princess Hotels & Resorts.

“We continue to place an important significance on the U.S. market, recognizing it as the most natural fit into our destinations. We have a commitment in supporting this vital market, and ensuring its continued growth, satisfaction and winning the loyalty of our U.S. guests.”
