Virgin Voyages will be heading to Alaska in 2026.
Sir Richard Branson’s cruise line will be sending its newest ship, Brilliant Lady, to the Last Frontier from May through September 2026. The ship will sail 17 new itineraries, with stops at 12 destinations.
Bookings for the new Alaska cruises will be available to presale Front(ier) of the Line passholders on Thursdays, Members of the public will be able to book on November 13.
“We have incredibly high repeat rates, so our Sailors are always challenging us to seek new horizons; they always want to know ‘where else can we sail with Virgin?’” says Nirmal Saverimuttu, chief executive officer of Virgin Voyages. “We continue to reach for the high seas with our itineraries, with Brilliant Lady being no exception. Soon our Sailors can visit one of the world’s most incredible destinations on the No. 1 cruise line, all while enjoying new and exciting artists, chefs and musicians that bring the Virgin vibe.”
Virgin will offer 7- to 12-night cruises that depart from either Seattle or Vancouver. Travelers will be able to visit ports in Alaska and Canada like Ketchican, Sitka and Prince Rupert, as well as enjoy scenic sailing to destinations like Tracy Arm Fjord.
Brilliant Lady is slated to debut in September 2025. The company recently announced the ship’s North American sailings, which includes voyages from Miami, Los Angeles and Seattle.
Beyond Alaska, the company is also introducing another 7-night voyage from Los Angeles, with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlàn and Puerto Vallarta.
