Luxury cruise line PONANT has partnered with South Sea pearling company, PASPALEY to debut a 30-guest boutique expedition motor yacht, the PASPALEY PEARL.
The ship will offer year-round sailings in the Pacific, including the Kimberley, East Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
The boutique expedition yacht will offer nearly as many crew as guests, with a total of 21 crew members, including four naturalist guides to enhance excursions. The PASPALEY PEARL will sail from East Timor to Bali in January 2025 following an extensive renovation, offering guests private balconies and experiences like pearl cultivation along the Kimberley coast, remote fishing, witnessing the buffalo races of Sumbawa Besar and more.
The inaugural voyage will depart January 10, 2025 from Dili in Timor Leste to Bali, visiting Lembata Island, Seventeen Islands Marine Park and more.
The French luxury line also recently announced a new 12-guest catamaran yacht called the Spirit of Ponant, offering customizable Mediterranean voyages before wintering in the Seychelles. Additionally, PONANT’s partnership with Smithsonian Journeys offers thrilling expeditions to Tunisia, the Canary Islands, Mallorca and more next year.
