If you are seeking a tropical getaway with fantastic weather, pristine beaches, and top-class resorts, Punta Cana has everything to offer.
The beaches are just a fraction of the natural beauty in this region. With vast forestry, caves, lagoons, and natural sinkholes amongst other wonders, you will feel like you are in paradise.
How you get around Punta Cana will depend on the type of holiday you plan to have.
If you are staying at a resort and intend to stay put in that immediate area for most of your stay, then you will not need transport daily. You can get a taxi or transfer between the airport and the resort on arrival and departure.
If you plan to venture out and explore the island, we recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay. This makes more sense in terms of cost and allows you to get around at your leisure.
Keep in mind that if you book daily tours or excursions on the island, these will often include transport that takes you around.
