Global tour leader TTC Tours has announced the top trending
destinations for 2025.
TTC Tour Brands which includes Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations,
Costsaver, Contiki, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold released its research
results based on recent consumer booking behavior compared to 2023.

captivated by both iconic destinations and less-traveled gems,” says Melissa

hubs like Italy, France, and Japan to the scenic tranquility of less explored
regions of Northern Italy and Scandinavia, our booking trends highlight
traveler’s growing desire for both immersive experiences and natural serenity.”

Japan remains a top choice for travelers heading into 2025,
driven by a favorable currency exchange rate, its rich culture and
world-renowned cuisine. Global guided
vacation company Trafalgar’s Classic Japan itinerary is seeing a 93 percent
surge in bookings while demand for premium tour operator Insight Vacations’
Majestic Japan trip has increased by over 30 percent.
Younger travelers indicate a consistent and growing interest
in Asia travel. Social travel company Contiki recently expanded their Asia
itinerary offerings with four new adventures and reported a 166 percent
increase in bookings for the Southern Thai Highlights trip and a 125 percent
increase for the Vietnam Highlights itinerary.
Interest in Europe remains strong, as travelers across
different demographics continue to tick coveted destinations and attractions
off their bucket lists. Budget-friendly tour operator Costsaver reported a 69
percent surge in bookings for the Italian Scene itinerary which explores top
cities such as Rome, Venice and Pisa.
High-end tour operator Luxury Gold is seeing a 57 percent increase
in bookings for the Ultimate Italy itinerary. Following the 2024 Paris
Olympics, Trafalgar’s Best of France trip has shown a 139 percent surge in
bookings, showcasing traveler’s rekindled passion for French culture, cuisine
and countryside exploration.
Travelers are also seeking less-traveled destinations and
opting for nature over busy urban centers. Insight Vacations Country Roads of
Northern Italy includes the Dolomites, Lake Como, and more, shows a 66 percent
increase in bookings.
Costsaver’s Britain and Ireland Explorer and Iberian
Explorer trips, which travel through smaller cities like Peñíscola, Costa Del
Sol, and Salamanca, are experiencing a 58 percent and 87 percent increase
respectively.
Scandinavia continues to dominate the 2024 World Happiness
Report, with Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway leading the way thanks to
strong community support and policies that prioritize well-being. Contiki’s
Scandinavia trip is trending up 67 percent compared to last year and
Trafalgar’s Capitals of Scandinavia trip is up 106 percent.
