Virgin
Voyages, Richard Branson’s innovative adults-only cruise line, is leveling
up its incentive program for travel advisors, whom the brand affectionately refers
to as its First Mates. In response to the surge that accompanies that holiday
season and in anticipation of the upcoming Wave Season, the company is rolling
out fresh perks and bringing back popular incentives.
To demonstrate its
dedication to supporting the travel advisor community, Virgin Voyages has been
listening to their feedback, tailoring its offers to align with what best
serves their clients and partners.
“A big part of our
commitment to our First Mates and Travel Advisor community includes
listening to real-time feedback and bringing the right incentives to the
forefront. This is especially important as we all look forward to Wave season
and all of the excitement around this time of year,” John Diorio, VP of North
American Sales for Virgin Voyages, said in a statement. “Not to mention,
there’s never been a better time to share the joy of a Virgin Voyages
experience with clients and friends— there’s so much on offer, including new
Alaska itineraries, Brilliant Lady’s debut on the horizon, and fresh
entertainment and restaurant concepts.”
Some of Virgin Voyages' newest
and returning incentives include:
- 10 Percent
Discount for Early Bookers: For guests who book their cruise at least 180 days
in advance and pay in full, Virgin Voyages is offering a generous 10 percent
fare discount. This initiative encourages early planning and allows clients to
lock in savings well before their sail date.
- Reintroduced Bar
Tab Offer: Back by popular demand, the Bar Tab Bonus promotion
allows passengers to pre-purchase an amount to be used toward their onboard drinks
and receive a bonus credit from the cruise line. The bonus extra credit that
gets tacked onto a guest’s Bar Tab amount can range from $25 to $250, depending
on how much they put down. This incentive was recently revived due to high
demand from both Sailors and First Mates.
- Reduced Single
Supplement for Solo Travelers: With solo travel continuing to trend, Virgin
Voyages has reduced its single supplement, making it easier for solo cruisers
to join in the adventure without paying extra to compensate for the lack of a companion.
With the reduced supplement, unaccompanied travelers can enjoy up to $3,500 off
their fare, while enjoying the epic solo cruiser experience on board. Some of
the “Happenings” available on every sailing tailored to individual explorers
include activities like meet-ups, pub crawls, group fitness classes and spa
days.
These incentives
follow Virgin Voyages' recently unveiled Black
Friday sale, which includes 80 percent off for a second passenger and up to
a $300 Bar Tab.
Virgin Voyages
remains dedicated to offering some of the highest commission rates in the
industry for its advisors while staying NCF-free (no non-commissionable fees),
a noteworthy distinction that further enhances the earning potential for First
Mates.
