Last week, Squaremouth released their data on the 10 most expensive places to take a trip this year.
Prices have seemingly been through the roof throughout 2024 for nearly everything, with the travel industry seeing the worst of it in the cost of plane tickets.
Still though, it was the bucket list places that cost the most.
Many destinations in Africa highlighted the list, along with Antarctica regions. Djibouti took the top spot with an average trip cost of $28,594.
To me that seems crazy high for a vacation, but others may see it as normal.
But if you have that kind of money to spend on a vacation, well then, I say spend it!
Expensive places will always be worth the cost. The transformational power of travel is priceless.
After all, money is just money…you can’t take it with you.
