Disney Vacation Club has grown this year with the opening of The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, who what’s expected in the years ahead?
Turns out, quite a lot.
Members of the vacation club program can enjoy a new accommodation option at Walt Disney World Resort, the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. This new option opens on December 17 and features 268 rooms, including two-bedroom penthouse villa configurations. The property, which is inspired by movies like “Moana,” will connect guests via monorail to Magic Kingdom Park.
Additionally, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will open all of its 354 cabins by spring of 2025. The one-bedroom cabins all feature sleeping up to six and offer full kitchens, living areas, dining and an outdoor patio. Guests will love the outdoor aspect of the property, which offers fishing, archery and equestrian trails to explore.
Beginning January 12, 2025, Members of Disney Vacation Club who are eligible for Membership Extras can enroll in the “Membership Magic Beyond,” which provides access to specially priced multi-day weekday tickets, magical meet-and-greets and more.
Those heading to Magic Kingdom Park in the summer next year will be among the first to enjoy a third Disney Vacation Club lounge: McKim’s Mile House, a Western-themed retreat located in Frontierland.
Further out into the future, Disney Vacation Club members can expect the opening of Disney Lakeshore Lodge in 2027.
