Leading travel industry software and technology provider Sabre Corporation just announced the launch of Sabre Red Launchpad, an extension of Sabre Red 360.
The Launchpad offers AI-powered capabilities and supporting air, hotel and car content. It eliminates the often complex tasks of creating and managing travel reservations. Designed to be user-friendly without much GDS training, it also allows new advisors to earn commissions faster.
“By listening closely to our customers and analyzing changes in the travel landscape, we realized there were unmet needs in the market,” said Kathy Morgan, Senior Vice President of Product Management, Distribution Experience, Sabre Travel Solutions. “Sabre Red Launchpad addresses those needs, making it easier to tap into Sabre’s extensive and multi-source travel content and generate revenue from day one. We’re thrilled to now offer Sabre Red Launchpad globally to support travel agency customers of all sizes.”
Early adopter Internova Travel Group launched its version of the software, called Internova SNAP, to over 300 agencies, with 13,000 agents now using the software. Another early adopter, 1000Mile Travel Group, is working with Sabre to produce 1000Access, which provides its independent agents with the ability to search and book air, hotel and car content in one place with automated fulfillment.
“We needed a solution for advisors who were not using a GDS but wanted to enhance client service and unlock new revenue opportunities,” said Peter Vlitas, Executive Vice President of Partner Relations at Internova Travel Group. “By collaborating closely with our extensive distribution team, Sabre developed this intuitive booking tool, empowering our agents to not only thrive in modern airline retailing but also make more money.”
